2012 Season

LOVE in the Spotlight.

In 2012, LOVE is in the Spotlight at The Theatre on Chester. The Theatre on Chester, with its hardworking volunteer committee and members, has been providing the community with quality theatre in North Epping for 56 years. And now in 2012, we are offering you three plays all with the universal theme of LOVE.

LOVE (like faith, hope and even theatre) might be an illusion, but that it’s an illusion that can generate its own reality. If you have ever been in love, have loved, are looking for love, imagine love or find love just too darn complicated, then this season is for you. Because our matinees have proved so popular, we are adding an EXTRA matinee on the first Sunday in every season at the usual time of 5pm. Our 100 seater Theatre on Chester with our new comfortable padded and wider chairs, is yours to enjoy with:

The plays for 2012 are:

  1. Love Song. Written by John Kolvenbach. Directed by Kenney Ogilvie.
  2. The Philadelphia Story. Written by Philip Barry. Directed by Joy Sweeney.
  3. The Servant of Two Masters. Written by Carlos Goldini. Rewritten by Nick Enright and John Blair. Directed by Carla Moore.
